Humbug! The Hedgehog Who Couldn't Sleep
You don’t want to be above ground when winter comes around: every hedgehog knows that.
As Humbug tries to hibernate in her cosy nest, suddenly her home comes under threat! Forced to leave her bed, she goes on a quest to find a new place to call home. Along the way she meets a host of weird and wonderful characters – but will she find the perfect place for a slumber party, where she can snuggle up till spring?
This humorous and uplifting tale of friendship and belonging is full of charming characters and visual flair to entertain children and adults alike.
Developed and produced with Nuffield Southampton Theatres and premiered at the NST City Studio in 2018. Then played The Albany in Deptford 2019. Going to ARC in Stockton, 2020.
